COVID 19 INFORMATION

GOVERNMENT RULES AND RESTRICTIONS ARE CHANGING FREQUENTLY. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU COMPLY WITH ALL GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES IN PLACE BOTH FOR YOUR HOME REGION AND FOR OUR REGION.
Following the announcement on 16 March, we are allowed to reopen from 26 April 2021 for one household from Scotland. It is still not clear when travel will be permitted between England and Scotland but we are expecting it to be shortly after 26 April. Two households will be permitted to stay from 17 May 2021, if all goes to plan. Full details can be found here.
We will not accept bookings if it is clear at the time of booking that you are not allowed to travel to Oban due to Covid 19. If you make a booking and are not in compliance, your booking will be cancelled immediately and your deposit refunded, minus an administration fee of £20. If in doubt, please contact us first.
In the event that further Covid-19 restrictions are imposed at a later date, after you have made a booking, and this prevents your stay in The Turret, we guarantee to offer a full refund of any payments made or allow you to reschedule your booking to a later date.
It has been a difficult time for all of us and we know how much a holiday means to everyone. We want you to be able to have a relaxing and peaceful holiday in The Turret, away from the congestion of larger towns and cities. Please rest assured, we follow strict cleaning protocols and following all the guidance issued by the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers (as approved by the Scottish Government) to ensure the maximum safety of our guests. Mark and I personally carry out all the cleaning so can guarantee quality control and we have also completed an online training course for Covid-19 cleaning.

If Government restrictions on travel due to Covid-19 mean that you are not able to come and stay at The Turret, we will give you a FULL REFUND or allow you to RESCHEDULE your booking to another date within 12 MONTHS of your original arrival date (subject to availability). This applies to new and existing bookings. All bookings remain subject to our standard Terms and Conditions. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss your booking.
WHAT WE ASK OF OUR GUESTS...
We request that you follow all of the latest government guidelines for Covid-19, including respecting travel restrictions, household groups, social distancing, wearing of face masks and additional hygiene precautions.
If you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 before you arrive with use, you must stay at home and self-isolate. You should not travel. Before sending your arrival information, we will request a declaration from you that you are not displaying any symptoms.
If you develop symptoms whilst staying with use, you must inform us immediately and make arrangements to return home.
