Visit Scotland visitor charter

Updated 17 September 2020

We are open for business again and hope you will have a relaxing and peaceful holiday in The Turret, away from the congestion of larger towns and cities. Please rest assured that we will be adhering to strict cleaning protocols and following all the guidance issued by the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers (as approved by the Scottish Government) to ensure the maximum safety of our guests. Mark and I personally carry out all the cleaning so can guarantee quality control and we have also completed an online training course for Covid-19 cleaning.

Whilst we appreciate that Oban is not totally back to normal, there are plenty of activities you can still safely enjoy during your stay. Most restaurants and bars are open, with social distancing measures in place, and a number of them are also offering takeaway menus and some will also deliver. We will send out the latest information on activities and restaurants to all our guests before arrival.

In the event that travel restrictions due to Covid-19 are re-imposed, our Travel Pledge below allows you to reschedule your booking to a later date without losing any payments already made.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Turret.

With very best wishes

Suzanne and Mark
